The instrumentation methodology project demonstrates the student's competency in specimen analysis.  Each student presentation distinguishes between laboratory results indicating disease and those indicating a Quality Assurance issue.  All projects are HIPAA compliant and presented to peers in a professional presentation.

The MLT Program Student Learning Outcomes met by this project include:
  
1.     Accurately perform manual and automated procedures in Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology, Serology, Clinical Microbiology, Urinalysis, Body Fluids, and Blood Banking

2.     Demonstrate competency in safely collecting, processing, and analyzing specimens and results

5.   Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct including confidentiality and interpersonal communication skills
